This percentage is about 85 percent now and the
Health Ministry targets to achieve 100 percent by promoting breast
feeding through awareness campaigns. Circulars have been issued by the
ministry to provincial health directors and regional directors of health
service to give special attention to this aspect.
The National Breast Feeding Week concludes on August 7. |
