Investor day in Kandy

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) in association with the Kandy Branch of the Colombo Stock Exchange is conducting an Investor Day on July 30 at the Kandy City Centre from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The aim of the Investor Day is to impart knowledge on capital market investments.

The Colombo Stock Exchange, stock brokers, and Unit Trust Management companies will be participating at the Investor Day. It will assist potential investors to open accounts to transact in shares as well as provide guidance on investing in the capital market.

The Investor Day will also feature prominent professionals from the securities industry, who will address the gathering on a wide spectrum of topics ranging from investing in the stock market, unit trusts and the debt market. The lectures will be conducted in an easy to understand manner to enable first time investors to derive the full benefit of the Investor Day.
