The Sir John Kotelawala Defence University won by 4 goals to nil their friendly soccer match against Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technologies (SLIIT) on July 21 at the KDU Soccer ground Ratmalana.Major Malinda Amarakoon, Officer Cadet A Shujhu (Maldives) Officer Cadet K.C.S. Kerewgoda and Officer Cadet A De S Sapukotana scored one goal each for KDU. Prasanna Peiris refereed.

KDU Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris graced the occasion as the chief guest.
