Dhamma school teaching certificate examination

Arrangements are in place to hold the eighth Dhamma school teaching certificate examination on July 30, Buddhist Affairs Commissioner General Chandraprema Gamaga said.

The examination will be held in 20 centres islandwide on the day from 9am to 12. About 5,950 candidates will sit the examination, he said.

Gamage said passing the examination will be a qualification for teaching in a Dhamma school and applying the Diploma in Dhaham Sarasavi. The examination was first held in 2004.
