Symposium on drink and driving

A symposium on drink and driving will be held on August 5 at 5.30 p.m at the MRI auditorium, Borella.

The speakers are, Palitha Fernando P.C, Additional Solicitor General will speak on ‘The current law on drink and driving’, Dr. Ananda Samarasekara, Chief Consultant JMO, ILMT on ‘The doctors’ role in assisting the implementation of the law’ Sakunthala Tennakoon, Deputy Government Analyst on ‘The scope of analysis of alcohol and drugs in the alleged drunken drivers’, Asoka Wijetilleke, Senior DIG on ‘Enforcement of the law in drink and driving’.

The moderator will be Prof. MSL. Salgado. Presentation will be followed by questions from the audience.
