King Dutugemunu’s ashes on display in Kotmale

The ashes of the great king Dutugemunu who unified Sri Lanka and created a golden history for Lankans, will be exhibited in Kothmale from July 29 to 31 at the Gamini Dissanayake National School, New City Kothmale.

The exhibition organized by the Public Management Reforms Ministry and National Heritage Ministry and will be opened at 9.00 a.m. on July 29, 2011 by Prime Minister D. M. Jayarathne. Minister of Public Management Reforms Navin Dissanayake, Minister of National Heritage Dr. Jagath Balasooriya.

Minister of Private Transport C. B. Rathnayake, Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake and Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa will also participate at the occasion. This exhibition will be held from 9.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on all three days.
