Matara Central College, won their under 15 division III cricket encounter against Arafa Central College, Weligama by 234 runs recently. The match was played at the Jayasuriya Grounds, Matara.

Deciding to bat first Matara CC made 324 in 46.2 overs. Isuru Sandaruwan scored 62 off 55 deliveries with seven boundaries and a six while opener Shazni Ahamed scored a quick fire 55 with 10 boundaries and a six. M Akram 5/27 and M Karshardeen 3/56 were the wicket takers.

Prince Dalugoda 4/6, Danuka Dilshan 3/12 and Pasindu Praboda 2/10 bowled extremely well to dismiss the Arafa batsmen for 90 runs in 14 overs. M Mifras top scored with 23 off 21 deliveries.
