Trail, a charity walk in aid of the cancer hospital in Jaffna made a
pit stop at the Galle Face green on July 11.
The Galle Face Hotel was delighted to have sponsored refreshments for
500 participants who arrived at the green on July 7. The Galle Face
Hotel's staff, General Manager Jason Cooley and Senior Vice President of
the Ceylon Hotels Corporation Chandra Mohotti was present at the venue
to welcome the Trail parade.
Following the pits stop at Galle Face the participants continued at
the Green Path on Friday and Saturday night. A Street food festival was
organized to raise further funds. All five star hotels including the
Galle Face Hotel had an outlet hosting Mongolian food at the festival. |
