CR-Havelocks clash on July 30

Runners-up of the Caltex ‘A’ Division League for the last seven years CR and FC will play host to Havelocks Sports Club in their return match of the ‘A’ Division League Tournament at Longden Place on July 30 (Saturday).

The Red Shirts won the first round game by 15-10 at Havelock Park but will face a tough task against the vastly improved Park Club. The Sri Lanka Navy will play host to Kandy Sports Club on July 30 (Saturday) at Welisara. The sailors who went down fighting to Kandy SC by 12-15 two weeks ago will go all out to topple Kandy SC having done so during the last two years on their home grounds at Welisara. The Cup Championship matches CR and FC Vs Havelocks on July 30 (Saturday) at Longdon Place, Navy Vs Kandy SC on July 30 (Saturday) at Welisara, August 6 (Saturday) Havelocks Vs Navy at Havelock Park, August 6 (Saturday) Kandy SC Vs CR and FC at Nittawela August 14 (Sunday) Kandy SC Vs Havelocks at Nittawela August 14 (Sunday) Navy Vs CR and FC at Welisara.

The Plate Championship matches July 29 (Friday) - Air Force Vs Army at Katunayake and Police Vs CH and FC at Police Park, August 5 (Friday) - Police Vs Air Force at Police Park, CH and FC Vs Army at Maitland crescent, August 12 (Friday) - Police Vs Army at Police Park and Air Force Vs CH and FC at Katunayake.
