Man with blue films sees red

A person from Makola was nabbed with CDs and DVDs containing pornographic pictures of women, by the Kottawa police at Kottawa town recently.

It was found that he is a Sri Lankan who is employed in Maldives. Police said he comes home regularly and prepares pornographic videos and return to Maldives to sell them.

He had carried out this business for a long time. The suspect was produced before the Homagama Magistrate and fined Rs 5,000.

Over 150 CDs, 50 DVDs and a bundle of pornographic pictures were destroyed at the Court.
