CHSGA organizes seminar
The Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) is inviting an
Internationally acclaimed Service Quality Guru Dr Jay Kandampully who is
a Professor in Service and Hospitality Management attached to the Ohio
State University USA to conduct a workshop on "Towards a paradigm shift
for Sri Lanka tourism-a service focus approach".
Taking into consideration the new challenges that will be faced in
the future of Sri Lanka Tourism, the CHSGA has come forward at a timely
hour in organizing this workshop.
The prime objective of CHSGA is to assist the Industry and the human
resource workforce in building competencies required for today. This
effort by CHSGA in organizing this seminar is not a profit making
exercise but to make a worthwhile contribution to the field of tourism.
Similar events of this nature has been organized by CHSGA earlier as
well.
Dr Jay Kandampully, who is an award winning author of many books
written on service quality, has also helped many organizations to
re-focus their operational strategies to build the competitive advantage
through service challenges.
Dr Kandampully will speak on creating a service culture that makes a
difference, how to gain loyalty through relationship building,
innovation and challenges in the hospitality industry, benchmarking best
industry practices around the world and also share his experiences on
tourism and hospitality.
CHSGA invite all top executives of the senior and junior levels in
the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality trade to attend this workshop and be
a part of the team that will define the new service focus for the
emerging scenario with the dawn of peace. The workshop will be held
