Kyokushin Karate style was introduced to the world by the late Sosai

Masutatsu (Mas) Oyama. Shihan Siriwardena is the only sri lankan student of Sosai Oyama and had represented the elite team of Sosai Oyama, called "The young lions".

Shihan Siriwardena had conducted two Asian tournaments in Sri Lanka with the participation of Sosai Oyama.

Kyokushin karate is respected as the most toughest karate style in the world, which is also a way of life.
