Vidyartha College, Kandy with an unbeaten record emerged schools under 20 division one segment 'B' champions when they beat St John's College, Panadura by a record 203 points (24 goals, 7 tries) to nil at the Nittawela rugby stadium, Kandy yesterday. At half time Vidyartha College led 114-0.

This was Vidyartha College's tenth successive win in tournament matches and will gain promotion to the segment 'A' next year.

This score of 203 points could be a record in Sri Lanka rugby.
