Trinity should have it easy

Two school matches will be played in the hill capital today (Saturday) in the Schools 'A' Division Rugby Tournament which is now drawing to a close.

At Trinity College Stadium at Pallekelle, Trinity College should have it easy when they take on the lowly placed Thurstan College. Trinitians led by Murad Ramzeen gave a fine display against the Royalists to regain the Bradby Shield in their last outing. They have also in their ranks six players who played for junior national team. They should run up a big score, unless they decide the senior players to give the unlisted players from the under 18 team an opportunity to play.

At the Bogambara Stadium Kingswood College will find it tough when they take on the strong Isipathana College.

The Kingwodians have been undergoing a season of mixed fortunes and a win for them in this match will improve their standing in the table of points and strengthen their chances of survival in the top division next year.

Isipathana College though not in line for championship honours have done well this season and they have the edge in this match.
