Minister calls for report on Sangakkara's speech

The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage has instructed the Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket to give a report on Kumar Sangakkara's speech at Lord's at the MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture.

The Ministry of Sports states that the Sports Minister has instructed Upali Dharmadasa, the new Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee to submit his observations on the speech delivered by Kumar Sangakkara for the '2011 MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture' at the Lord's Cricket Ground.

A report has been called for by the Minister as Sangakkara has criticized the sports administration in Sri Lanka, which comes under the sports law of the country.
