Navy fight-back to beat Police

Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club staged a superb second half rally to beat Sri Lanka Police Sports Club 20-14 in their Caltex inter club ‘A’ division league rugby tournament match worked off at Welisara yesterday.

The Sailors who were trailing 5-6 at half time came back magnificently in the second half to turn the game in their favour while collecting their points from one try, two penalties and three drop goals.

Police SC who made a spirited start to the game failed to maintain the same momentum in the second half and managed to score only one try and three penalties.
