Israel: Israel has called on Apple to “immediately remove” from its store an application calling for a third Palestinian Intifada (uprising) against Israel, a report says. The Israeli Public Affairs Ministry informed Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a letter on Tuesday, dpa reported.

The “thirdintifada” application was released on June 15 and was still available on Wednesday for free downloading from iTunes.Public Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein said in the letter, “Upon review of the stories, articles and photos published by means of the application, one can easily see that this is in fact anti-Israel and anti-Zionist.”

He noted that the application aimed to inform people of protests against Israel, adding that the same group had set up a Facebook page against Israel. Press TV
