President commends Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva

President Mahinda Rajapaksa who spoke to Major General Shavendra Silva over the telephone yesterday commended him for his efforts to reveal the truth about the accusation levelled against Sri Lanka by Channel 4 in its programme from New York.

The President made special mention of Maj Gen Shavendra Silva’s services to prove that the Channel 4 fiasco was a lie.
