CBSL appoints Lead Managers

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) on behalf of the Sri Lanka Government has appointed four institutions, namely Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital PLC, the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, and the Royal Bank of Scotland PLC as Joint Lead Managers to advise and handle a future international sovereign bond issue.

The appointments have been made after evaluating the proposals received from seven leading international banks/investment houses.
