Thankfully the final day of the Three Npower Test
series against England ended on a happy note for the Sri Lankans
when the batsmen put their heads down and batted sensibly to save
the Test which at one stage looked poised for another defeat.

Lanka-England clash in Twenty20 match
Now that Test cricket, what the game is
all about is over, the Sri Lankan and England cowboys will take over
soon and step into the cricketing rodeo when the Twenty20 and 50
over internationals are played. This game will see white balls,
black sight screens, colouredga clothing by the players and the
umpires too attired most probably in black. The only Twenty20
between Sri Lanka and England will be played on June 25 in Bristol.

Ramzeen leads Sri Lanka youth rugby team
Trinity skipper Murad Ramzeen has been picked to
lead the Sri Lanka Under-20 team which will take part in the Asian
Under-20 Rugby Championships which begins in Hong Kong this week. He
is a utility player who could play either as a hooker or prop.
Ramzeen was also a member of last year’s Sri Lanka Youth team which
finished in third position at the Youth Rugby Championships in
Bangkok last year.
