ASC gets facelift

The Kaithadi Agrarian Services Centre (ASC) in Jaffna which had been renovated at a cost of three hundred thousand rupees, had been recently inaugurated by Agrarian Services and Wildlife Minister S M Chandrasena.

The Agrarian Services Centre had not been functioning over 30 years, due to LTTE terrorism and it had been renovated on the guidance of Minister Chandrasena with the aim of providing relief to the farmers in the North.

A fertilizer store had also been declared open by the minister. Action had also been taken to enable farmers to obtain all their requirements from this Centre while making available facilities for them to market their produce.
