Gonuts recently opened the island's first 'drive through' store at
Castle street, Colombo 7. The team marked the launch by introducing a
new category to their list - the Sugar Rush doughnut. This is a crispy
yet soft item dusted with sugar. The full range of Gonuts' doughnut
selection from their signature Hot Pink Love to the Sweet Cinnamon and
Raspberry Delight is also available at this drive through outlet.
The store is one of the only three drive through doughnut stores in
the ASEAN region. Customers can breeze in and pick their selection and
take off in a jiffy as the staff is at their beck and call. It is only a
matter of seconds that you will be on the move again with a tantalizing
treat tucked away in the seat beside you.
The company has outlets in some of the main areas of the city like
Battaramulla, Nugegoda and Dehiwala. A phone delivery system is
available so you can place your order and have it delivered to your
doorstep. However many prefer to hang out with their family and friends
in the comfortable stores, indulging in the delicious doughnut and
basking in the aromas of fresh baked goodies.
Mothers will not have their hands full as kids will be too occupied
with the sweet treats as they stop by for a pick up and businessmen will
be able to work and satisfy their hunger at the same time as they zoom
