In his presentation, Nalin addressed the changing global business scenarios and the causes for such change, stating how different economies reacted differently to these changes.

He spoke of how organizations remove people from their natural talent and lock them into job descriptions, resulting in a huge waste of natural talent, and the stupidity of some companies that go on a search for 'talent' without knowing what 'talent' means.

Nalin presented the business models of General Electric, Eastman Kodak, Dell, Ernst & Young and Nordstrom and analyzed the changes they made at different times to keep abreast of global business changes. He spoke of how to create a value chain for business competitiveness and to make change before you are forced to.

Member - National Executive Committee and Queensland Branch Committee and Chair Member Services Team Adrian Earl, said, "It was a very comprehensive and detailed insight into the many facets of managing change in a volatile world, which along with the strength of Nalin's personal profile, attracted strong attendance numbers from our audience of 'accountants in business'."
