DSS notch up seventh win

D. S. Senanayake College cruised to their seventh victory this season when they defeated St. Sylvester's College Kandy 20-12 in their Singer inter-school Under 20 Segment 'B' rugby match worked off at Longden Place yesterday. D. S. Senanayake who trounced St. Anne's Kurunegala by a record score of 153 nil in their previous outing collected their points from one goal, two tries and one penalty.

St. Sylvester's responded with one goal and one try after D. S. Senanayake College had snatched a close 10-5 lead at half time. Number eight Devin Ariyakumara, centre three quarter Chamoda Perera and full back Kanishka Saranga scored a try each for the winners. In addition fly half Vishwa Yahampath put over a 25 metre penalty and converted one try.
