Bens edge out Carey

St. Benedict's College Kotahena edged out Carey College 15-10 in the earlier game played at Longden Place.

The Benedictines collected their points from three unconverted tries after the scores had been 10 all at half time. Carey responded with two tries.

Easy for Zahira

In another Singer inter school Under 20 Segment 'B' match Zahira College went on a scoring spree as they routed St. Anne's Kurunegala 100 points to nil at Maradana yesterday.

Zahira scored as many as 18 tries and converted five of them without conceding any points to their opponents.

Meanwhile Mahanama College put up a splendid performance to beat C.W. W. Kannangara MMV Borella 25-15 in their Singer inter-school Segment 'B' rugby match worked off at Havelock Park.
