Book launch
Lalith Heengama's Arthur Raju Saha Raja Sabhava was launched at
Dayawansa Jayakody Bookshop, Colombo 10 on May 31.
Arthur Raju Saha Raja Sabhava is the Sinhala translation of the
popular English novel The Story of King Arthur and His Knights.The Book
is published by Dayawansa Jayakody publishers, Colombo 10.
Sounds Like Pop
Sounds Like Pop directed by Soundarie David Rodrigo will be held at
the Lionel Wendt on June 1.
Award winning dramas
Lalith Athulathmudali College won the First place in the all Island
Inter-School Drama Competitions in 2009 and 2011 respectively. The
awards winning dramas Sanda Langata Enakam and Pambayayi Lamayayi will
be staged on June 3 at 9 am, 11 am and 6.30 pm at S de S Jayasinghe Hall
at Dehiwela.
Gabbara Minisa in town
Gabbara Minisa (Pregnant Man), the latest comic stage drama of
seasoned actor Sriyantha Mendis will go on stage on June 3 at 3.30 pm
and 6.45 pm at Elphinstone Theatre and on June 4 at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm
at Wattala Town Hall. |
