Development according to well formulated plan - Minister

"The massive development programme activated in the country is proceeding according to a well formulated plan and target and no force will be able to sabotage it," said Mass Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

Looking at the gigantic development projects underway in the country today one can be certain that it will be transformed into the Wonder of Asia before long.

The Minister was addressing a meeting held at Menikhinna to mark the launching of the rehabilitation of the Madawala-Digana road and widening of Menikhinna town recently.

Minister Rambukwella said the dividends of development were now accruing to the masses following the crushing of terrorism and it was regrettable to note certain opposition parties failing to realise it.
