Al-Qaeda's chief vows to avenge bin Laden's death

Al-Qaeda's new chief Saif al-Adel has vowed to launch a devastating terror attack on London to avenge Osama Bin Laden's death, prompting authorities here to step up security at city's vital installations.

Al-Adel, 51, who was once bin Laden's security chief is determined to make Britain and the US pay for the killing of his dead boss, Taliban chiefs revealed yesterday. He is ordering his followers to 'crush' the city.

Soon after being officially appointed caretaker chief of the terrorist group, al-Adel vowed to avenge the death of his former boss.
