Airman Kumara wins Super Lion title

The Open Sri Lanka Super Lion Body Building and Uva Super Lion Body
Building championship organized by Sri Lanka Body Building Fitness
Association along with Uva Province BBA and the Uva Provincial Sports
Ministry was conducted recently at the Bandarawela Municipal Council
Hall.

DLB Kumudu Kumara of the Sri Lanka Air Force was adjudged as the Open
Super Lion Builder while in the Uva Province Super Lion title was won by
Priyantha Kumara (Super Body Sports Club). The highlight in the Super
Body Building was that the two runners up positions too were won by two
Airmen WVNM Abeysekera and WNS Abeysekera.
In the Uva Super Lion contest the two runners up were SM Sampath
(Super Body SC, Bandarawela) and ENUD Premaratne (Super Star SC).
The Winners were awarded with Trophies and big cash awards. Mayor of
the Bandarawela Municipal Council LM Chaminda Wijeweera was the chief
guest and gave away the awards. The guest of honor Secretary, Uva
Provincial Council Sumith Suraweera. |
