Two die in crash

Two persons died and one seriously injured in an accident around 3pm yesterday near the Hulandawa junction at Wellawaya, Moneragala.

The two who died were a man and his daughter, while his wife also was seriously injured, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Moneragala hospital.

The three met with the accident when returning home after attending a wedding at a rest house in the Moneragala town.

The Monaragala headquarters police Inspector D B M Kalanasiri is investigating on the guidance of Moneragala Police Superintendent D C Gunawardena.
