He was speaking at a ceremony to launch the Daily News Buddha
Pradeepa and Dinamina Vesak Kalapaya at Lake House yesterday.
Deputy Features Editor Sachithra Mahendra is the Editor of the Buddha
Pradeepa while Ayanthi Vithana is the Editor of the Dinamina Vesak
Kalapaya. "We have been reading the Dinamina and the Daily News from our
childhood," the Governor said.

Seelarathna Senarath said, publishing the Daily News Buddha Pradeepa and
Dinamina Vesak Kalapaya, is one of the steps of ANCL to spread the
knowledge of the Dhamma among the public.
The Editorial Director also said around 515,000 copies of the
Budusarana are also distributed and sold throughout the island.
He also hoped to publish a Tamil publication on Buddhism for people
in the North and East.
Prof Ven Iththademaliye Indasara Thera, Dinamina Editor Mahinda
Abeysundara and Dinamina Features Editor Ayanthi Vithana also spoke.
France Chief Sanga Nayake Most Ven Murungagasyaye Hnanissara Thera,
Ven Rambukana Siddhartha Thera, Daily News Chief Editor Lynn Ockersz,
Prof Gunadasa Amarasekara and Company Secretary Kumudu Gunawardena also
