ILO to launch new report
The International Labour Office (ILO) is to launch a new report
entitled Equality at work: The continuing challenge, on May 16,
providing a comprehensive overview of the state of discrimination in the
world of work in the wake of the global financial and economic crisis,
and offering recommendations for future action by the ILO and its
constituents.
The report is part of a series of annual ILO studies on core labour
standards and was prepared under the ILO Declaration on Fundamental
Principles and Rights at Work.
The four fundamental principles are freedom of association, the
elimination of child labour, the elimination of forced labour and
discrimination. |
