Lake House victorious

Lake House cricket team bowled out Central Transport Board (CTB) team for 138 on their way to a 13 run-victory in the Nationalized Services Limited Over Division-I knock out cricket tournament match which was played at the Shalika grounds recently.

Lake House batted first and scored 150 in 28 overs. Kasun Perera 45 top scored while T M T Anuradha and S K Silva consolidated the innings with 27 and 25 respectively. Nishanka Perera (3/43), Kelum de Silva (3/25) and Sudera Silva (3/30) did the damage to dismiss Lake House.

CTB only managed to score 138 as the Lake House bowlers dismissed them in the 26th over. Rangana Fernando scored an unbeaten 48. Kasun Perera picked up four wickets for 20 runs while S M S I Senanayake claimed three for 34.
