Deputy Minister leaves for Istanbul

External Affairs Deputy Minister Neomal Perera left for Istanbul on Sunday, to participate in the Fourth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDCs), which is being held in Istanbul, Turkey, from May 9 to 13, 2011.

The Deputy Minister is expected to deliver a joint statement on behalf of the Group of 15 (G15), in Sri Lanka's capacity as the current Chair of the Group which is the summit level group of developing countries.
