Lake House sponsors Aloka Pooja

Lake House will participate in the Mihintale Aloka Pooja for the 49th consecutive year, which will go down in Sri Lankan Buddhist history, said Ven Walawa Henguwa Wewa Mahindaratana Thera, during a special Anusasana at an oratorical competition of Dhamma school students in the North Central Province held at the Mihintale Maha Vidyalaya by the 'Budusarana' Newspaper to coincide with the Mihintale Aloka Pooja on Poson Full Moon Day. The Ven Thera recalled the services rendered by the late D R Wijewardena, through the Dinamina paper in winning independence for the country from British Imperialists.
