Telecom joins hands in Amadahara Vesak Zone

Over 100 Vesak lanterns will be on display at the Amadahara Vesak Zone organised by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited in association with Sri Lanka Telecom PLC. The Amadahara Vesak Zone will be held from May 17 to 19 opposite Lake House premises for the 10th time in succession.

According to officials in charge of organizing the Vesak Zone, stalls are being erected by ANCL employees for the lantern exhibition.

The officials said that preliminary arrangements are under way to illuminate the entire Vesak Zone with lanterns and bulbs.

A special dansela sponsored by the National Insurance Trust Fund will also be held at the Zone.

The organizers said that over 100,000 people will visit the Amadahara Vesak Zone a day.
