The Socialist Equality Party (SEP) and the International Students for
Social Equality (ISSE) call on workers and youth to attend the public
meetings in Colombo on May 1 to mark International Workers' Day and
discuss the vital issues confronting the international working class.
Since the beginning of 2011, after decades of political reaction,
workers internationally, have come to the forefront of struggles in the
Middle East and North Africa, as well as in the State of Wisconsin in
the United States, to defend democratic rights and to halt the deep
inroads into living standards.
The critical question facing workers is: what road forward?
