UN SG trying to rouse people's feelings

Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, said that while the UN affiliated Institutions were making attempts to ensure unity among countries and peoples, the UN Secretary General was trying to erouse the feelings of the people of all nations.

The Governor made this observation at a ceremony held at the Upcountry Arts Society Hall to commemorate Universal Dance Day yesterday.

He said that Sri Lanka had successfully eradicated 30 years of terro- rism from the country and the People of Sri Lanka could now live without fear or susp- icion.

He said the people celebrate the second year of victory over terrorism on May 19.
