Country won't be divided - Minister Chandrasena

One million farmers mainly from the Anuradhapura district and adjacent areas, would be brought to Colombo in protest against the controversial Darusman report, Agrarian Services and Wildlife Min- ister S M Chandrasena said.

The Minister also said that certain sections who had kept silent when the LTTE terrorists were brutally massacring pregnant mothers in the North and East and also brutally killing innocent people in northern villages, were today trying to divide the country once more, but no room would be allowed for them to achieve success.

Minister Chandrasena made this observation when he spoke at the progress review meeting of the Divi Neguma programme held at the Cooperative auditorium in Matara.
