Wasp attack:

36 students hospitalized

Around 36 students of Kananke Siri Parakumba Maha Vidayalaya were admitted to hospital following a wasp attack yesterday in Imaduwa, Galle.

The students were participating in a procession organized by the school when the wasps attacked them. Students said the wasp had been disturbed with beating of drums. According to the police, two teachers and two passers by were also injured.
