Liquor sellers fined

Three traders who pleaded guilty for selling liquor without valid permits during the festive season were fined Rs 15,000 each by the Kandy Magistrate S U B Karaliyedda recently. Dinesh Liyanage, Gamini Saman Kumara and Anushka Randenigala were the three traders.

The Peradeniya police made the arrests and produced the traders before the Magistrate.
