Cannabis pedlars arrested

Two suspects possessing cannabis were taken into custody by the Teldeniya police with 12,260 milligrams of cannabis. The detection was made on April 23 in Digana Town. Police investigations have revealed that these two suspects were in the habit of bringing cannabis from Kandy and distribute them in areas such as Digana, Manikhinna, Teldeniya and Kundasale.

Investigations are continuing on the instruction of OIC D.M.C. Dharmaratne of the Teldeniya Police.
