New building for school

A two-storeyed building will be constructed for the Thirumurukandi Vidyalaya in Mullaitivu. The foundation stone laying took place on April 22 at a function attended by Ministers Gunaratne Weerakone and Wimal Weerawansa, Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthi Muralidaran and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, MP.

The Vidyalaya where there are 280 students has only one permanent building and the new two-storeyed building will fulfill a long-felt need of the students.
