Three day symposium ends at Eastern University

Three day international symposium on ‘Post-War Economic Development
Through Science Technology and Management’ which commenced at South
Eastern University of Sri Lanka’s New Arts Theatre at Oluvil on Tuesday
was concluded on Thursday. The awarding of certificates to the academics
who presented their papers of research took place in the presence of a
large gathering of the Vice Chancellors, Researchers, Professors,
Academics and Educationists from India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran and
Bangladesh and higher ranking officials from various departments and
special invitees.
Southern Eastern University of Sri Lanka Vice Chancellor Dr S M
Mohamed Ismail gave away the certificates to the participants and the
team leaders in recognition of their valuable contributions in various
fields.

Malaysia Dr Natheerkhan Hj participating as chief guest said symposium
paved the way for a broader understanding among the academics from
various parts of the world and got to now lots of new things. The
pivotal role played by the academics of Southern Eastern University of
Sri Lanka under its Vice Chancellor Dr S M Mohamed Ismail in organizing
this international symposium is praiseworthy and of course a worthy
one.”
The visiting academics, professors and other educationists from
various sectors were looked after and their hospitality shown towards
the visiting foreign participants is an unforgettable. He also said that
the visiting academics were highly taken up by the Sri Lankan culture,
way of life and above all the hospitality they have shown towards the
