Sangamitta House became champions collecting 315 points at the Kandy Mahamaya Girls School annual sports meet held under the patronage of the First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa.

The guest of honour was Keerthi Perera, Deputy Director of Education, National Schools, Central Province. The sports meet was held at the Bogambara stadium, Kandy.

The following are the results of the House positions: 1st place: Sangamitta House with 315 points. 2nd place: Prajapathi House - 248 points. 3rd place - Maya House - 207 points. 4th place: Yasdara House - 187 points.
