SLASSCOM, Motorola organize seminar

Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies Centre of Excellence for Mobile and Telecom with Motorola Technologies Lanka, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Inc are organizing an Enterprise Mobility Application Software Development Competition for the IT Undergraduates of Sri Lankan Universities and University affiliation colleges.

The introductory seminar will be held on April 7 from 9.30 a.m at the University of Colombo School of Computing Prof V K Samaranayake auditorium. This is a CSR project by Motorola and SLASSCOM to explore and expose skills of local undergraduates and find them opportunities in the most dynamic and challenging technology environment today.

"The first ever Inter-University Enterprise Mobility Software Development Competition held in 2010 was a great success.

Our main objective was to impart the enterprise mobility solutions knowledge to the university undergraduates who will be the next generation IT experts moving Sri Lanka to the forefront of world mobile wave," said Director Motorola Technologies Lanka (Private) Limited and Sri Lanka's Country Manager for Motorola's Solutions business, Anuradha Tennakoon.
