a margin of 0.5 marks.
The organizers invited the Methodist College Choir to compete for the
Hoi-An Trophy with six other choirs. This was held on the last day where
each choir had to sing two A-Capella pieces not previously performed at
the competition. This was a competition among the best choirs
participating in the competition and only seven of the twelve category
winners were invited to compete.
They were also honoured by being invited to participate and showcase
their vocal talent at closing ceremony with two other choirs – Plaisir
Ensemble from Hong Kong (female voices) and the National University of
Art Education Choir from Ha Noi, Vietnam.
Methodist College Choir was conducted by Sanjeev Jayaratnam, leader
of the world renowned ‘Revelations’, who has been training them since
January 2010. The Choir was accompanied on piano by Mrs. Shanthi Dias.
Organized by Interkultur Germany, the Vietnam International Choir
