New Sports Magazine to be launched tomorrow

Sports lovers in Sri Lanka will get an opportunity to read the latest sports news of Sri Lankan Schools from a sports magazine 'The Papare' to be issued for the first time at SSC grounds tomorrow.

The inaugural magazine will be released tomorrow to coincide with the Royal- Thomian annual cricket encounter.

'The Papare' is a quarterly issued magazine and it is published by Pioneers Group, leading supporters for sports in Sri Lanka.

The magazine contains the news of sports including cricket, rowing, rugger, basketball, waterpolo, baseball and boxing.

Ayesh Rajapaksa, Hafeel Farisz, Sanka and Esala Tennekoon and Arjun Manoharan are the partners of the magazine.

The cricket captains of Royal, St. Thomas', Ananda, Nalanda, St. Peter's and St. Josephs are displayed on the cover page of the magazine.

The first copy of the magazine was presented to former Sri Lankan cricket captain Duleep Mendis.
