The Jaffne Edition of the Thinkaran newspaper published by Lake House
exclusively for Jaffna readers was launched at a ceremony held in Jaffna
yesterday morning.
This edition will clear the obstacle faced by people of the North
from keeping abreast with the latest credible news denied to them for a
long period due to terrorism. The new Jaffna edition fulfills a pledge
given by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Thaipongal day to open new
communication strategies to enable the people of the North keep abreast
with the latest news. Lake House takes pride about its ability to
fulfill the President’s pledge to the people of the North within 42
days.
The new Tinakaran Jaffna edition hopes keep the people of the North
informed about the development and welfare programs implemented by the
Government to normalize and improve community life in the North. |
