Pakistan fined

The Pakistan team was fined for maintaining a slow over rate during their 11 run victory against Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 match worked off at the R. Pramadasa Stadium on Saturday.

Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fines after Shahid Afridi's team was ruled to be one over short of its target at the end of the match when time allowances were taken into consideration.
